Hello! My name is Ivy Xiao. I was born and raised in China and moved to the U.S. when I was 16 years old. I attended a public high school in Indiana and have a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University. My professional journey began in the vibrant world of film and TV entertainment in California; however, in 2022, I made a career pivot to education when my husband and I relocated to Georgia. I am currently working on my master's in teaching at Mercer University.

Currently, I teach 5th grade Mandarin immersion at ICSAtlanta. It's incredibly rewarding to share my language and culture with young learners. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my one-year-old baby, introducing him to the wonders of the world around us.
