5th Grade Spanish Teacher
My name is Migdalia Rivera. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and I moved to Georgia about 11 years ago. I live in Kennesaw with my husband, Angel Soto. I have a son, Gabriel; a daughter, Nataly; and three grandchildren: Michael, who is 14 years old; Èathan, who is 2 years old; and Claire, who just turned one.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with my family. I love writing and have published two books: Te invito un Café and Mi amigo el lápiz.
I began my journey to become a Spanish teacher in Puerto Rico. I completed my undergraduate degree at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and earned my master's degree in management from the same university. I am certified to teach grades K–12. Over the years, I have taught students at different grade levels. This is my third year at ICSAtlanta and my second year teaching fifth grade.
