Hello! My name is Jennifer Cairns. I am a Pennsylvania native, but relocated to Georgia in 2000. My husband, David, is from New Zealand. My son Ian (18) is leaving for KSU to study engineering in two weeks and, no I am not ready! And my daughter Sylvia (16) is an artist, a junior at Cambridge, and wants to go into animation. We live with a menagerie of cats and a pocket pitt mix. In my free time I like to read, search out water falls, study history, and make music.

My undergraduate degree is a BA in Music Performance. Later in life I continued my education, completing my MA in Elementary Ed at the University of Phoenix six years ago and I am looking forward to my eighth year in the classroom this year! I have taught different grade levels over the years, inclusion, and team teaching. I am enthusiastic about being a part of the ICSAtlanta Family and I look forward to meeting both you and your child. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead!
